Even if the call was bad, was it ok for her to screem at the line person? I don't know if she said I am going to Kill You! but we do know she was yelling, at her.

So what do you think? Was it ok for her to go off or not?

For me I have to say yes she was wrong and the right steps where made by the USO. You have to keep your cool. Yet I don't really think any less of her. I been there. I lost my cool a couple time in High wrestling matches, and was thrown out of the match. I you put you heart and soul in to a match, and you can go off some time. It not the right thing to do, but it happens. We are human.

She didn't hurt her.Or anything.

No she wasn't wrong. She let her emotions get the best of her but that isn't "wrong." I saw it as an empty threat, but others maybe not so much. So yeah she overreacted, but it isn't unforgivable. If she makes a statement, it will probably go away faster, but either way I don't think she was wrong to stick up for herself. It's just part of her personality and she can't always control it unfortunately.

I wonder if criminals rationalize in that same fashion.

So now you're comparing what Serena did to that of a criminal? GMAFB. Talk about blowing it up. Please.

How can anyone justify it? She was absolutely wrong.

it's not that big of a deal. sure, it wasn't appropriate for being on national television and at a sporting event so they did the right thing. but at the same time its just a bunch of silly words and people are making her seem like a terrible person. good for her for expressing how she felt.

That kind of behavior from any player in any other sport such as baseball, football, or basketball would result in an ejection, fine, and likely a suspension regardless of whether it was a bad call. Why should tennis rules be any different?

Enough, there have been more than enough discussions on the subject around.
