Not that I really think God cares who wins today, but this is just a prayer for the tour.

I think the WTA is getting an awfully bad reputation right now (even though I disagree with it) and no matter who wins the final, their will be arguments that the WTA is in shambles because how could a player that hasn't played in 2 years come back and win OR how could a "pusher" (not my words) like Caroline win.

I think the best situation story-wise and television-wise would be Kim winning the title. The crowds love her, most of the fans love her, and it would be a great story.

So, for the sake of the WTA tour, please win Kim.

If Kim wins, her story is still going to be overshadowed by the crap that went down in the semi yesterday... Sad but true

So what -- Kim's story is still great and I hope she wins for her and for the tour!

Serena is awesome and always will be - we all make mistakes and she accepted the consequences and congratulated Kim on a fine performance.

but wasn't the "footfault" on a second serve anyway...so wouldn't she have lost the point regardless

All the top 10 players (except one obviously) will be rooting for Kim. None of them want her floating around Melbourne as a 17-32 seed.

How does Kim winning make the WTA seam better?

A player who has not played for two years, comes back in her third events wins a Grand Slam title.... Hmmm not exactly great statement on the state of game is it?

Good luck to both players! I think it would be quite nice to see a new name on the Grand Slam lists.... and it would make it interesting
