However great a tennis player she might be, her tantrum last night was an obvious move to deflect attention from her DEFEAT !

So let us concentrate now on Wozniacki and Clijsters and no longer to the fallen hero ...

...by starting a thread about how her "move" was to "deflect attention". Good start. :yeah:

Let's focus on two best players, okay, but the focus is already on them: Serena and Kim.

Well, I'm not going to judge nor speak out on Serena's behaviour. I could definitely understand her reaction but she went off the boil in the heat of the moment. That's all I have to say. That's that.

I totally agree that we should move on! Where are all the threads about Kim's obviously improved mental strength? Her amazing tennis? Her not being afraid on the big stages anymore? Or the threads about Wozniacki, who makes her first Slam final here and is also overshadowed by all the attention for the incident?

Go girls, and especially Kim of course! ;) I wish you all the luck you deserve in your Slam final tonight!

The best players were all in the bottom half... Kim, Serena, Venus, Flavia and Vera.

Hear hear. I want Kim to win the final but if Wozniacki does let's hope whoever wins the final gets the press they deserve. I feel sorry for Kim she was clearly stunned at the end of match and I hope she gets to celebrate a victory in the final. Who says Serena is a hero by the way. She no hero. Just arrogant tennis player who likes to think she's everyone hero.

What a joke

The Woz is not one of the best 2 players in a GS , maybe in an International

You really don't like Wozniacki! This final should be interesting-its been a long time since a GS final went to 3 sets-2006 in fact so hopefully this one will go the distance.

In a Grand Slam , the best players are those that get to the final. The fact is that the top players lost to players ranked about 50 places below Wozniacki so they were not good enough to get further than they did
