View Full Version : I don't know whether to laugh, be angry or sad for Serena!

Seriously! I have always disliked Serena so strongly. Last night was insane. She has been cheated badly against Capriati a few years ago for sure.

The line judge did her job but then Serena's comments were so over the top and aggressive that I think she really went way too far.

Love her or hate her, the girl DOES BRING DRAMA!

I remember her wanting to take a bathroom break after her own serve to hurt Hantuchova's momentum but then suddenly did not need a bathroom break after her own serve. There was the match at Roland Garros where she intimidated Amelie Mauresmo with never-ending GLARES THAT COULD KILL followed by the fake tears in her press conference in which she convinced the USA (not the rest of the world) that Justine was a cheater despite the fact that Serena wanted to serve when her opponent was not ready. The year before that she had already offended the French by making fun of their accent and their stand on the war in Iraq. There was calling her own sister a "bitc*". There was Indian Wells. The "incident" with Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez at Roland Garros. Her screaming out that she was "sick of" Jie Zheng during her match with her. She and Sharapova have both fired balls at each other close range. Then there was her loss to Kuznetsova this year in which she seemed to say that Kuznetsova did nothing to win the match. There is the drama with Safina about Safina not being the real #1... Some of this stuff seems pretty funny in some ways but the girl cries in her press conferences that "drama follows her". Give me a break.

Like I said, in many ways, she is really great for the tour! She brings a lot of game and so much drama. :bounce: Every tour needs a villain (or hero depending on your pov).:bounce:
