When was the last time women's tennis made the front page of nearly every newspaper out there?

Controversy sells.

Say what you like, but this might actually be good for the WTA tour.

Just check the different newspapers online. Most of them have Serena's picture on the front. American, British, Australian, Belgian, Dutch, ...

I just hope one thing: that Kim wins this US Open. So it's her picture appearing on the newspapers on Monday morning, and not Serena's.

I had this same thought last night.
This is the best thing to happen to women's tennis all year!
Serena shouldn't have gone off on the lineswoman like that, but that was an effing stupid time to call a footfault!

Exactly how I feel about it all.

"I have heard Carillo's joyous outburst at the show of "passion" from a player. I have heard her encouraging, forgiving and understanding remarks when a player has "lost it."

Yes, when said player owns a penis. Remember, in Mary's world, there is one set of rules for the wta and another set for the atp.

i've only started following tennis a few years ago (in 2005). nothing really. maybe the 2005 AO? molik and kuzzy were dubs partners and there was that whole drugs scandal thing going on with sveta. i was a huge molik fan then so i was buying the reading the papers everyday
