I have a feeling that a certain someone will be adding a certain player's BANGS to your list. ;)

I know; I don't know WTF is in the air at Flushing Meadows (besides rain) but the place and everyone in it has gone mad - off-their-trollies. - if you will.

And I feel guilty for finding the whole Serena semi sitch, more funny than anything else.

It'll be the biggest mess ever (in TF in particular) if Caro somehow manages to push her way against Kim for the title.

I imagine the forum will go on meltdown and the server will overload for about 30 minutes while delicatecutter gets his head around it :weirdo: :o (If Caro wins, that is.)

It was so FRUSTRATING and ANNOYING at times but it was also very ENTERTAINING.

If I wasn't so sad about JJ and Demented wasting such a fabulous opportunity for a title, I'd say this US has been hilarious. I hope the final doesn't disappoint (in terms of hilarity, of course), but I'm slightly worried since neither Kim nor Woz are particualrly prone to strange behaviour.

at least the line judge will be rolling in wealth once she sues Serena for damages

i have a feeling Caro may pull it off. Its clearly the end of the WTA as we know it.

I'm loving this tournament :bounce:

A big part of that is due to Kim's success of course, but what has also been exciting were the many upsets, the new promising faces. Women's tennis looks to be in a transition period more than ever. And I have to admit that the "shove-it-up-your-throat"-incident has been, while unfortunate and resentful, awkwardly and cruelly funny on the other hand!

Here's hoping for order to be restored in tonight's final

I also feel this...or maybe hope. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if she won.

And it will all get weirder tonight.

Either Kim matches her GS win count from her first career in the first month of her comeback..

or we have a new slam champion and likely a new top star which we haven't seen since Wimbledon 2004.

Put your seatbelts on..

Dawson.

Everything's a mess and I absolutely love it! I thought nothing could top USO 05 for me; but if Kim wins this match, we have a new winner!

Sorry to disappoint, but when she agreed to be a line judge she assumed the risk of being verbally abused by a player.

Assumption of a KNOWN risk.

She'll get nothing.

Weirdly enough, Kim winning is one of the least odd things that's happened lately; even though she's only played about two and a half matches in two years, it feels like some order has been restored.

(I guess I'm just not that surprised at her winning a GS like this; for (see first post) ;) )

Gratz Kim (and Caro)

Mind you, the mess conintues post USO:

GS champ Clijsters pisses off until '10.
Will Serena return to the courts this year? Will she conitnue to play, but wear a muzzle each time she steps on court? How will she recover, mentally, from this debacle?
Will JJ manage to defend her truckload of points last year AND continue to play in items of curtain/homewear.
Will Vera's knee still be in tact after she tore it to pieces ON-COURT?
Where is Ana Ivanovic? (Probably chasing her ball toss)
Will Dinara end the year as number one, thus capping off a surreal 2009 for the women?
Fall should be GOOD!
