Laura has played 4 junior Grand Slams now and her record runs W-F-2R-SF.

She's done well , British players tend to suck on clay anyway , outside the FO she's reached the semis at least of every junior grand slam she's played and she's only played them once each :yeah:

Exactly, that's a huge accomplishment. :) I do feel bad for the Brits though. It would have been great for them to have an all British final. Heather will have to get it done. :)

I've been saying for a while that this Robson is not a cert for the top ten. There's potential, but I've seen too many flatter to deceive.

What a surprise!
She was gaining lot of support and fans on this board.

Believe me, I am not so naive as to think everybody loves.
They are probably still on a fact finding mission to justify why they can't stand her.:lol:

Buchina probz handled the situation better. Very dissapointing, of course, but I would rather the upsets come in juniors so she can learn not to make them in seniors! Good luck in Shrewsbury Laura!

Exactly , didn't Dushevina beat Sharapova in the girls final in Wimbledon?

Although K.Bondarenko also beat Ivanovic in the juniors final at Wimby a few years later so some things never change

Never mind Laura  You have to start focusing on seniors from now on.

Surely Sky will find a way to televise the final - pleaaaaaaaase!! I hope Buchina is too tired to beat Heather! And while healthy, Laura has made the SF of all her junior slams, shes going great! Big points defence coming up soon though - hope she spends the end of the season in the weak events.

I think this match means more to Buchina that it does it Robson. Both are a similar age and Laura has been there and done it before, so I'm not too shocked by this result. Yes it would have been great to have an all british final, but who would have thought heather would make it in the first place? All credit to Buchina for what seems like a great comeback, but I'm not reading too much into this to be honest. An dplaying two matches in 1 day must have been tough for both girls too. Obviously Buchina handled it beter.

EDIT - oh wait, Buchina is two years older than Laura :spit: I'm getting her confused with Gavrilova. I definately don't read anything into this reasult then  Let's see if Laura is still playing juniors in two years....
