772 k? That's cheap for such a house. We are so ripped off in europe. A house like that here would cost you nearly $1m

perfect for a toddler to throw up all over! You don't need a couch that gets a baby banned from the living room do you?

Is he from Southern NJ? That's an odd place for a celebrity to live unless they play for a major league team that is based in Philly, PA.

Brian has retired from profesional basketball in Belgium (his team went broke as well :( )
And as far as I know, the house in New Jersey is only to be used during the American tennis season and when visiting Brian's family...

LOL the fact that it is in New Jersey makes ALL the difference in the US. Most people who work and do business in NYC live in Jersey cuz the prices are wayyyy cheaper and the drive isn't too bad.

The furniture probably isn't theirs...its probably all been staged...wouldn't be surprised if it was a foreclosure for that price

maybe the furnature pictures are from the people who lived there before. Were these photo's taken after July when they bought the place, is it allowed then for the press to come in and take pictures?? I would guess these pictures are from the agency, to sell the house (can't find the English word for that profession ).
I like the basement pics.

Brian retired to support Kim.

Yeah, it's not their furniture. It's staged or it belonged to the people they bought the house from.

I didn't think anyone would assume the furniture belonged to Kim when I posted the thread. Just the house. :D

A few things:

1) New Jersey has the highest average household income in the nation, so suck it Jersey haters :wavey:

2) I don't see how anyone can pretend that $775,000 is inexpensive, in today's economy, for a 3 bedroom house.

Is he from Southern NJ? That's an odd place for a celebrity to live unless they play for a major league team that is based in Philly, PA.

Well he did go to Villanova, which is right outside of Philadelphia. However, Wall township is certainly under the greater influence of New York/North Jersey, and not Philadelphia/South Jersey.

If u want a good area, close to a city, you are paying enough k's. But yeah i'm comparing to Tervuren, where I used to live, and yeah, there u don't have a house for that price with that size.

Tervuren is the most expensive place in Belgium, so no wonder.

It's true. New Jersey is one of the richest states in the country. I think Maryland is actually #1 now in terms of average income, but New Jersey is #2. It's funny how NJ can't shake its image as a dump despite this fact.

 @ the people who thought this was Kim's furniture. You think Kim would take staged shots of her new house?! It's called a real estate listing. Some people on this board are TRAGIC.

Lei Clijsters wasn't poor himself and probably passed over the money to his kids already. Plus Kim has a livetime contract with fila and babolat and evian, + 15 million usd in earning, I think she has enough cash to afford it.

Which is very close to NYC, and less expensive. There are many exclusive areas of N. J. with many very rich people.

I live like 15 min away from her now :haha: . She used to play at my club to train during the summer and I heard she did this year too. The club is only a few min away from the house so it will be her training place I'm sure. Wall is a very nice town and there are some expensive houses there, but this seems a bit cheap. Im surprised its not more expensive. New Jersey is an expensive state to live in so I don't get the comments. Bryan grew up in Sea Girt which is only 5 min from this house btw.

New Jersey has one of the most expensive real estate markets in the whole country. People always like to diss on New Jersey but it's consistently ranked as one of the best states to live in.

It's better to remain silent and let people think you may be an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

P.S. To the people asking how she can afford this house, she earned $15 million in prize money alone. What about endorsements, appearance fees, and investments? How much will she earn even if she loses this semifinal? $300K?

It just depends on the location. My grandparents' house in Queens which is about half the size of that and nowhere near as nice just got appraised for $900,000. :o
