District 9 - anyone else see it?

I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was... I really enjoyed it. :yeah:

I saw this too the other day. I too was surprised that i enjoyed it so much as i'm not a fan of films like Independence Day but this was different and very fresh. Very engrossing film!

I was actually disappointed a bit, I expected allot more. Overall it was good though, but nothing spectacuallar.

I expected more from it.

not trying to change your opinion about the movie but if all you got out of it was putting aliens in a ghetto then you were never going to get the movie. :shrug:

I thought it was a very unique way of showing how we marginalize certain groups of people in society. How the guy went from being one of the majority talking about the aliens, marginalizing them to being one of the marginalized.
