I wanted to really post about a surprise quarterfinalist, but Safina is still in the tournament, and I really see a potential upset against Petra, if Petra is on.
Until that time, who will be in the Rd of 16:
Kateryna Bondarenkohttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/2.gif (http://www.tennisforum.com/showthread.php?t=389616#), UKR? (Has outlasted her seeded sister in the tournament; is ranked 52, has never been beyond the 3rd round of a Slam, but has had an outstanding summer).
Anastasia Rodionova, AUS/RUS? (The last qualifier left in the tournament, and ranked No. 139. Has never been beyond the 3rd Rd.)
Gisela Dulko, ARG? (Historically known for her looks and boyfriends as much as her tennis, she is currently ranked No. 40, and has been to the 4th rd. of a Slam once, at Roland Garros, in 2006).
Yaroslava Shvedova, KAZ (Formerly on the Russian Watch before changing countries, Yari is ranked 55 and has never been beyond the 3rd round of a Slam).
Kind of a random group that looks like the 3rd rd. of a Tier IV. Who do you think will be in the 4th rd? Who do you WANT it to be?
