Shahar has so much crowd support in NYC!:hearts:

Excellent match from Shahar. She didn't press and she waited for her opportunities. Her ball movement was excellent and she was running Suarez Navarro from corner to corner. Her footwork is top notch and this is probably the best match she has played this year.

Best I've ever seen Shahar play. :worship:

Well constructed attacks, flat forehand (:bolt:) and always looking to go forward!

Kuznetsova. Who wasn't very impressive today and this is an excellent opportunity for Shahar. She has a great record against Kuzzy

Every body runs Carla from corner to corner making any Carla Navarro match unwatchable. I have never seen a player as boring as Carla Suarez Navarro. If their was an award for the most boring female tennis player, it would have to be Carla Suarez Navarro. For the sake of tennis, thank goodness she is out of the tournament. :)

Incredible Shahar:eek::eek::worship:

Best i've ever seen from her. She still keeps that counterpouncher game, but mixes it with great attacks.
Please, keep it up and make it deep, I love the atmosphere in your matches!

Carla:rolleyes: whatever, you won a match.
I guess she'll never have the attitude of a winner, and thus she'll never be a winner. Can we wait another year for the attitude and results to come by? I doubt it:sad:
Anyway, today nothing she could do would have brought the victory for her, so go home, have a rest and get a decent trainer and psychologist in your camp:help:

Can't believe I missed this :banghead:
Now beat Kuznetsova like you did in your first 2 encounters.

I'm really hoping Shahar can beat Sveta. :) It'd be nice to see her make a run here.

carla played ridicously terrible! I couldn't believe she beat V in Australia. She looked like a bad junior that can't deal with pace.

was at the match--Shahar played very well, and yes, the crowd was very supportive. The one thing that she got away with was slow serve, which Carla did not attack at all. Otherwise, strategy and groundies were great

WOW, well done Shahar:D I love her game, nice to see her finding form.

Carla :help: She is sucking HARD lately; I always expect better from her, yet she usually disappoints. Maybe she's flattered to deceive in the past...

Replace that with 'Wozniacki' and you might get some support around here

Carla clearly has no idea how to adapt her clay court game/strokes to a hard court!
