The worlds best female tennis player just keeps on producing those impressive stats :hearts: Now, she has set a new personal best in cake walk draws :worship:

The best possible draw for her on the way to the final of the USO is as follows:

R1 - #167 RoGOATska
R2 - #67 Barrios
R3 - #72 Kvitova
---
R4 - #42 Errani
QF - #40 Dulko
SF - #6 Kuznetsova

Making the average rank of her opponents #65.6, a huge improvement on the #59.5 at this years Aussie open :inlove:

And with the possibility of Kuznetsova screwing up this great opportunity there is still room for improvement

Come on. How is this any of her doing? Criticize the draw makers or the seeds that lost. Really.

it's O.K , thanks for the stats. Hopefully Kuznetsova doesn't make it either. :)

Indeed, you can only play what is in front of you...or across the net in the case of tennis.

I was just posting about this in a different thread. It's CRAZY how crap her draw is. I love Sara, maybe she can pull out the win?? Sveta isn't playing well either so that could be an incredibly painful semi...though I would expect Sveta will come through that match is she can just keep the ball in.

I wish it was Masha who got the easy draws. Can you please do Sharapova's average ranking in the draws she has played against.

It's not her fault, but I really wish they would bring back quality points.

Dinara is a tier II player who just played a lot of tournaments to reach the #1 spot.

Come on Venus' knee was bandaged up and her tendonitis was bothering her at Wimbledon and Dinara barely won one service game off of Venus.

Once again Pam, MJF, Carillo was talking up her game and trying to blame her coach for her bad performance. It's funny how Carillo will praise the Williams sisters for never looking at their box for help and then she'll talk about the other players who have to look at their coaches for advice when they are down.

And now that Dinara was playing poorly in her first round match they try to blame her coach to justify her play. Well hell, they talked about Venus like a dog just the night before and Venus never looked at her coach, she just settled down and took charge of the match.

Even yesterday when Venus did an interview, Hannah Storm had to say how sweet and pleasant Venus was. She just plays her games and goes on about her business despite the commentators like MJF, Pam, and Carrillo talking about her every second of the game.

I think they are more jealous of Venus because when she was on Larry King last Summer, he stated that CNN had done their homework on Venus and found out that it was "Venus Williams" who is the RICHEST woman in sports, and Venus just gave him a smile.

Despite Maria's contract that Pam, MJF, Carrillo like to brag about, it's Venus who has more money than all of them.

Venus was making $12 million dollar a year when she was just 10 years of age.

Isn't Maria on her path? I hope she can pick it up and then destroy her.

And then we would end up with the real champions on the tour: the WS, Clijsters and Sharapova (with Justine joining the later). Out with the mediocre like Safina, Dementieva, Kuznetsova and Jankovic.

Right, because she hand-picked the opponents she wanted to play on the road to the final.
