Justine's working with eric houben again according to several articles.(her old fitness coach) :bounce: Good signs if it's true. The article is also saying there are rumors about justine to return on gravel, not in australia.

Besides this i don't know if you all know it yet but i've also heard that the dubai exhibition will be against svetlana. Can someone confirm this?

Let's keep our fingers crossed! :D PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

As usual only rumors. It would be weird for her to go to her fitnesscoach even before Rodrigues has even heard anything about a comeback.

If she is serious she will need fitness for sure! Is she ready to take the pounding week in week out from big girls again?Kim has natural power but justine is a tiny woman. It will be harder for her to get to her old level.

I think she'll be back. Her retiring was probably just a extreme reaction to how she was feeling at the time. Sounded like a rash decision at the time.

The very fact that she isn't saying something, despite rumors on her comeback, (perhaps) says something.
She and her entourage keep :tape:: could be a most meaningfull reply :).

Honestly she needs to get back to tennis. She has an unreal level of talent and she is the real queen of Roland Garros in the last 15 years. Nobody played as well as Justine on red clay IMO except for Monica Seles or Chris Evert. Justine's game really is unbelievably versatile and well-suited for all surfaces but ESPECIALLY for the dirt. I do like Kuznetsova and Safina too but they are not really at the same level when at their best as Justine imho. Ivanovic was really an off the wall winner but, hey, who knows, maybe she can get her act together again same day.

So far I have stayed away from threads about Justine's comeback, but now I seriously think she is planning to come back. If she didnt plan to come back she would've strongly denied the rumours by now. I think she will see how the training sessions go, and will then announce.

That is very possible. If she were to come back, I doubt she would play a full schedule. At this stage she should not need a full time coach. At her comeback she would have no ranking and, therefore, not be considered a top tier player. Would she still be required to play certain tournaments like Miami or Indian Wells? I am inclined to think she would like to concentrate on European and Mid East tournaments and maybe US Clay tournaments. Her main goal should be to win Wimbledon or another FO. She should stay off the hard courts as much as possible! Whatever, I just want her back!!

My guess is she will return two years to the day after she "retired"- to coincide with the end of two-year "hush, hush" ban.

Oh please, she is not the only one to take drugs. Plus, she sells tickets so it would have no sense to ban her without announcing it to the press. Being quiet on drugs takers brings much more $$$ .

If she does return then I guess she doesn't know herself. She did say that anyone who knew her knows once she makes a decision she sticks to it.

when commentators start repeating those rumors on air they are more than rumours, it is true. Remember when Lindsay said something similar about kim, and sure enough a week later kim announced her return.

If She Want To Come Back, I Don't See Why She Still Keeps It As A Secret. It's best to keep it under wraps until you are totally sure. You don't want to create a hoopla if you're not 100% sure you will be able to return and return at a high level.

OK she's coming back. Cancelling a theater tour, going back to the fitness coach, besides the fact that it seemed likely anyway.

:ras: not like the WTA is in the greatest shape right now. I'm not saying that one person can save it, but Henin coming back would certainly give tennis a heightened sense of excitement
