Dementieva is really limited by her net game and mediocre volleying skills. There are so many times she could end rallies if she would come forward and take the ball out of the air.

I started a thread over the summer about how good her net play used to be and never understood why she stopped. I hope she keeps it up. :)

I have only been impressed by Pin once. It was from 0-5 down third set AO 2007 R1 against Maria. Other than that, she is sooooo bad. No serve, no weapons at all. She is a poor man's Wozniacki (thought to be impossible)
