No, you said they were lucky to draw each other

yes I did say that because most other player in USO would defeat Garbin easy on hardcourt

but Garbin lucky to draw someone even worse than herself :wavey:

Embarrassing. But expected, even Craybas whipped this girl last week.

This is a really bad lost.
No more wild cards for you Cecil.
Brie Whitehead could probably win more games off of Tax Garbin on a hard court.

College tennis is significantly weaker than WTA.

Garbin is a tough opponent when you are young, nervous and inexperienced.

Solid win Tax :yeah:

I was at this match and it was easily the worst performance I've ever seen from a player at the US Open, point blank. She wouldn't have even won a round in the juniors. Error after error within the first 2 or 3 shots that she hit. All Garbin was doing was hitting down the middle of the court and mixing up the pace well. Cecil has some game, but was so obviously overwhelmed with the experience of playing in the US Open and froze out there. She was in tears as she made her way back to the locker room.

That's horrible

Hopefully she'll learn from this experience and move forward in a positive light.
