YES! :bounce:

Steph wins her first ever main draw match in a Grand Slam. Totally dominant in the first, went down 1-4 with two breaks in the second, but won 5 games in a row to finish it up :D

So proud of my girl! :worship:

Congratulations Stephanie :D It's been a long time coming earning that first slam main draw win, but finally the monkey is off her back :) Hopefully getting this win will help her even more in the future to be more relaxed and keep believing in herself moving forward :)

Transition from (elite) junior to senior pro player is always hard, but to be bageled in 1st set or choke double break advantage in 2nd set (after *4-1) is unacceptable :tape:

But no doubt for me - soon or later Mladenovic will rocks WTA :rocker2:

Wow! Steph played wonderfully well! Way to go Canada! What a breakthrough grand slam for the country! Steph should break into top 100 now... close to a career high! And she deserves it. Seems the top six canadians are either surging up the rankings or solidly maintaining their peak rankings!:hearts::hearts::hearts:
