OAKLAND, US: Authorities say a St Louis-bound Southwest Airlines flight was forced to return to Oakland International Airport after a male passenger stripped, hit another passenger and fought with crew members.

Alameda County sheriff's deputies say Flight 947 returned yesterday morning after 21-year-old Darius Chappille of Oakland allegedly exposed himself to the female passenger sitting next to him and punched her in the face.

Lt Howard Jacobs says flight attendants and other passengers then subdued Chappille, as he disrobed. He was apparently completely naked when sheriff's deputies arrested him.

Chappille and the woman were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

A Southwest Airlines representative says the flight took off from Oakland again later.

I never have that kind of luck either! I've had three, I repeat THREE really unlucky trips.

1) I was 16, flying to Belgium from Malaysia. I got the aisle seat, and then this lady comes up and politely asks me to switch because apparently, she's diabetic and pees often. So I was like, yeah sure, go ahead. When she unlatches the tray thingy, it collapses on her! The flight attendant moved her up to business class! That ungrateful bitch should have said no and RIGHTFULLY given it to me! So i sat fuming the entire way.

2) Flying to Belgium from Malaysia again, and once again I got the aisle seat. A lady with a baby came up and asked me if I could switch. I said ok. After the flight took off, her tv wasn't working. The flight attendant moved her up to business/first class! She was nice enough to ask me to go instead, but being the fool that I am, I was like "Oh, you have a baby, it'd be more comfortable to you if you go." Now, I would have been perfectly ok with it if this jackass next to me did not keep throwing up ALL FLIGHT LONG! When I asked if I could move elsewhere, there were no other seats available!

3) I was on business class, flying from Belgium to Malaysia. My first time ever! Unfortunately, I was down with food poisoning and spent most of my flight in the lavatory! UGHHHHHHHHH!

You should have checked everything i.e. the tray thingy, tv, seatbelts etc. before letting other people to switch seats with you next time.:p

BTW, are you working in Belgium? You seem to fly there quite often.

Similar thing happened to me on a QANTAS flight from Sydney to Tasmania. In economy aisle seat with a real prick in the middle seat. After take-off, he starts whining about how the seat was too narrow for him. I think they might have incorrectly configured the seat and arm rest so he might have had a point - but he made a big loud fuss to the attendant and demanded another seat.

She said "We'll fix that sir" and takes me by the arm and escorts me up to business class and lets him use the two economy seats. LOL I drank a lot of cointreau on ice that flight! :)
