Eurosport commentator said that her withdrawal (as Venus's) doesnt depend from fear to fly or from fear to stay in Moscow but cause Usa is going to attack Afganistan and American airports will be closed for long time during the war so they are scared to not can comeback at home after tourneys.sorry for my bad english,i hope u understand what I mean.

I'm gutted because I won't see Lindsay but I totally respect her decision and am sure I would do the same if I were in her position.

Sadly, these are uncertain times.

Yeah - i can understand it too - i certainly know how i felt waiting to get a plane home so i wouldnt argue with that at all. I guess this means that theres a strong possibility that the other tourneys will be affected by withdrawals too

Lol Mae..er I mean, Angelica.

I hope we do get to see her play 9even if I don't with Aussies shocking coverage!) but it would be great for her! And maybe even beat Venus!

Do you think she can beat Venus? and What do you think about Lindsay's confidence?

Lindsay didnt ever lose to Venus on carpet.head to head is : 5-0 for Lindsay on carpet.it means that Venus doesnt like indoor surfaces, while Lindsay loves them so i think she can beat Venus for sure....depends only from her shape.if she is in shape, she is better than Venus on carpet!!

LOVE U LINDSAY!!

Well Lindsay has been in shape for a while now - she looks great! I was lloking at the difference between now and Wimby 99 and she is the slimest now!!!
Gotta love that OF at US Open, I am so proud of her! Will never get over that match! How the hell does she make those shots???
