Flavia and Lisa again. Hope they do better this time! :bounce: Good to see former no.1 Kim playing.

Black/Huber should take this if they play well. Tough looming QF with Beth/Nadia but they did beat them the last two times. Hsieh/Peng in the semis most probably. Don't see anyone in the bottom half beating them apart from Hantuyama, and who knows if they'll even get to the final. It still looks like a good event but I'm kind of disappointed with the turnout given it's a Premier 5 tournament.

The third quarter is pretty loaded. As well as the seeded players, Jans/Rosolska are a pretty handy team who have beaten Hantuyama on clay and Medina/Ruano on hard and three of the four players out of the Kirilenko/Vesnina v. Chuang/Yan first round match are playing in the LA final while the other is a French Open doubles finalist. Kleybanova/Makarova have had a few decent results too - quarter-finalist at Wimbledon, IIRC.
