It's on the lack of doubles-only Grand Slam winners in the Hall of Fame...a few quotes from Lisa Raymond in there as well. Enjoy :)

Great article :yeah: The lack of respect for doubles in the HOF is outrageous and is why we shouldn't take it too seriously. There are some players that aren't in there who achieved FAR more than some who are. But anyway, what happens on the court is what matters, and I regard many of the doubles players to be all-time greats.

Lisa Raymond was right. Doubles is a completely different game to singles, requiring different skills. Just because a player is better suited to doubles than singles does not mean they should be excluded from the HOF. Bud Collins was wrong. I wish he'd just go back to his "pre big-money" days and be done with it.

I wish doubles got more attention, I love it way more than singles, but unfortunately I rarely get to watch it.

I read that article a few days ago and it was well said about the lack of doubles player in HoF. Besides Lisa, do you think Paola Suarez and Virginie Ruano Pascual get in?

good job, I quite enjoyed it
I really hope some of the names we're hearing about today can get into the HoF. If anything, for their longevity: Stubbs, Ruano, Suarez, Raymond, Sugiyama, Black, Huber... All deserving nominees.
