she's a nice girl, she speaks Czech fluently, just was interviewed :) but I'm not really impressed with her game, Kvitova was horrible today.. really painful to watch this match.. so many ues and almost no winners :o

Ondrej, did you record?

Sad for Petra as she is really struggling to find her form since elbow and ankle injuries this year. I hope she will regain her confidence sometime this year because I'm sure all these losses are beginning to take their toll.

On the other hand, what a tournament for Zarina! :yeah: I first noticed her last year when she beat Mladenovic in a junior event and then won a Kazakh $25K but I didn't think her breakthrough at the WTA level would happen so fast. It must be very exciting for her to make the QF in the city she currently resides and trains. Hope she keeps going in the next round against Benesova.

over 40 ues from Kvitova, Diyas chose correct tactics, keeping play in play as many and trying to return deep ball. i'd like to see how Diyas play different players.

i must be the last one to know Diyas has a Czech coach and live in Prague.

Kvitova was a disaster except the patch from 0-2 0-30* in the first till 4-2.
