For a top player, Sabatini's serve was grotesque! I mean, I always wondered why her second AND first serves were not returned as winners! So soft! Her groundies were a different matter altogether.
And how come there's no mention of the fabulous Anna Kournikova?
I think the Hingis-serve is extremly week too! Dementieva can serve quite well on a good day but Hingis couldn't do anything with her serve and the technique was so awful (probably still is). ;-)

I did mean bad serves due the match situation, rather than just a hopeless service motion. Though it was funny to see Ilinca Stoica.
The video doesn't even show BOTH awful serves she hit, neither got to the net...

Oh I love so many of these players :hearts:. Not the ones with ugly serves, but the ones who get all nervous... after the horrible miss you just want to :hug: them. Poor Virginie in the point above, I think the wind helped to make that happen, she was trying to pull out of the serve.
But what about Dina (bless her socks) and her doublefaulting against Sabine L at Wimby? One of those DFs went to the far corner of the other box...
Here it is, I wish there was a better quality version, but at least this is from a widescreen version so you can fully appreciate just how far it is from Sabine.
