Which player would make the best tennis instructor?

I'm going to say Lindsay just off the top of my head.

Actually, I agree. Her technique is amazing.

I'm thinking Hingis could have a lot to teach.
Justine already runs her academy.

However, usually, the best coaches/instructors/teachers are people who are not "naturally talented".

Lindsay! was also the first one that came to mind. I think she has a good understanding of people and, knows what it takes to win a slam and has a lot of experience on and off the court.

I'm not so sure about Hingis. She hates training, and I don't see if she'll have enough patience to teach. I want her to coach somebody though. But I agree that the best coaches and trainers are not the best tennis players. With naturally talented players like Hingis, I think it would be hard for them to explain how they execute a particular shot.

I imagine this scenario if Hingis is to be an instructor.

Student: How do you hit a good lob?
Martina: How?
Student: Yes, I think you have great lobs.
Martina: I don't know. I just hit it.

I imagine Clijsters would have the knowledge, patience and kindness necessary to be a quality tennis instructor. :)

I'm thinking Alicia Molik.

Serena Williams.

She knows what it's like to play amazing and play like crap, and she'll keep you laughing all the way through ("You got that forehand going, babe... into the grandstands!") instead of staring you down and putting pressure to hit a good shot.

Also Lindsay, Justine (because she loves kids and tennis)... Kim too...

Sexy Lexy could teach you how to fake an injury and retire from a match without getting into troubles.

Sam Stosur. I think she'd have a great attitude for it, and she'll obviously have learnt so much from David Taylor. I think it helps if you're good at doubles and singles to become a good coach.
