Tammy used to give an interview that she really love Bali because of Bali is one of beautiful islands in the world, the people are very nice and having good unique culture (which total different from another town in Indonesia.) :hearts:

Last year Tammy lost to Angie in three sets in QF. ( Tammy wasted 2 match points in second set. )

Hope Tammy will do well this year.

GO Tammy Go, take home the title. :hearts:  :hearts:

I think this is a huge chance for Tammy to win her first title.
She is playing great tennis, beating:
R1 - Adriana Serra Zanetti 6-2 7-6(3)
R2 - Clarisa Fernandez 6-4 6-4
and she will play Dokic in the Quarter finals:D!
However we should take it one win at a time.

GO TAMMY:bounce:

If she shows up in Bali, she'll be the top seed, right? I don't see a higher-ranked player in the commitment list posted in the other thread.

I think so, Tammy will be top seeded player, and she will get bye in first round.

That would be excellent. Maybe she can finally garner that first title.

Read this guys, intresting things from Tammy's match against Dokic. One kinda funny thing;), but I feel sorry for the ballgirl - read on:

Serena downs Pratt

From correspondents in Tokyo

AUSTRALIAN Nicole Pratt was today brushed aside by Serena Williams in the Princess Cup tournament.
Williams hardly raised a sweat as she cruised through their quarterfinal 6-1 6-0 to book a semi-final showdown with fellow American Amy Frazier.

A two-time runner-up here, Frazier upset sixth seed Tatiana Panova 2-6 6-1 6-4.

Defending champion Jelena Dokic quashed the challenge from Thai ace Tamarine Tanasugarn to clinch her semi-final berth.

The second seed from Yugoslavia committed several double faults on important points, including one on a break point and twice at a deuce, but she powered her way through to a 6-3 6-1 victory over the seventh seed.

Tamarine, playing Dokic for the first time on the tour, hit a double fault at 30-40 to trail 2-0 early.

But it was Dokic's turn to double fault at 15-40 as the Thai No.1 broke back to make it 3-2.

After the two women exchanged another break in the following two games, Tamarine's forehand shot hit the head of a ball girl near the net.

Tamarine hit a double fault on the following point to give Dokic a triple break point, which eventually cost her the game and the set.

Tamarine saved four break points and repeated deuces eight times in the first game of the second set.

But again she hit a double fault to lose the game and then she only managed to break the sixth game afterwards.

In the semi-finals, Dokic will play either Kim Clijsters of Belgium or Elena Likhovtseva of Russia.
