Yes I realised of it when Anabel and Virginia were playing their match and it´s very impressive; they usually are the missing seeds in the semifinals of the hardcourts tournaments

Yeah, very interesting lineup! All 8 players are multiple grand slam champions and we have all the reigning grand slam winning teams still active in the draw.

I have no problem with any team winning so any way it should be a nice final moment whichever team wins.

I am very pleased that all these teams have got here. For all the talk about doubles being useless and the singles players being better than the doubles players and able to beat them in doubles, it's good we have the best 4 doubles teams in the draw coming through. :yeah:

Another interesting fact:

Out of the 8 players still in the Ladies doubles tournaments, 4 are still in the Mixed doubles as well (Liezel, Cara, Sam, Vivi), and 2 are in the singles tournament (Venus and Serena).
In comparison, for the men, out of the 8 players, only 1 man is still qualified in Mixed (Bob Bryan) and none in the singles tournament.

And now 3 of the girls of the ladies are through to the mixed semi whilst the last remaining of the guys (Bob Bryan) is out!
