Real World 22 Cancun , Premieres Wednesday

I used to be OBSESSED with the Real World, but have taken some time off because frankly I got sick of it. I have renewed interest this year as I know two of the house guests (which is madness to me!).

I actually was subletting CJ's apartment, for the four months he was in Cancun. I actually have his bed, and other bedroom furniture. I'm going to guess he's going to be the heartthrob of this season, which is weird since I know him so well. I mean, yes he's great looking, but you kind of get over it if you see him enough, kind of. haha He graduated from the school I currently go to. He's a real sweet heart, unless you're rude to him, and then he can go off. Based on the pre-show interviews, I think he's going to come off cockier then he actually is in real life, but he's a gorgeous, gorgeous boy.

In addition, Joey, whom I know much, much less, went to the same high school/grade school as I did. I tutored him once in middle school, but we were never really friends. He's a hot mess supreme, but I am totally pumped to see his craziness. He's certainly going to be the mad one of the cast, for sure. He's already begun to fame whore himself out, and his season hasn't aired yet.

wish it couldve been somewhere more dynamic than cancun though.

I'm always excited for Real World but the last few have disappointed me. Hopefully this one will be good, :shrug:

Haha, CT. He's actually also from the Methuen/Andover area, my home town. I don't actually know him (seen his little sister drunkenly whore herself out at a party), but it's funny you'd bust out the other guy that I might have a psuedo connection with. Although this one I forget about sometimes haha

Actually, not to spoil anything, but they were there during the height of the swine flu drama, and do get evacuated from Cancun later in the season. Obviously everyone was fine, but CJ lamented how strange/scary it was.

I mean if you watch it for just pure entertainment value, I think it's still a tried and true premise. I mean you can look at it as an eclectic gathering of people that may never have met in other terms, and watch the human reactions. Albeit I haven't watched a true season of Real World since I think Real World X back to New York, which was fantastic.
