The one who's with McEnroe and Gilbert... she has no business in being there :o She really sounds like a robot and doesn't have much to contribute!

Slammer7 Jun 22nd, 2009, 06:41 PM Are you guys talking about Suzy Kulber? She usually does NFL games. She co-anchored ESPN's Wimbledon and Wimbledon studio broadcast for years between 03 through 06. She's ok, not a tennis person but she isn't offensive and she's pretty enthusiastic. barboza Jun 22nd, 2009, 07:18 PM She sounds really fake and robotic... Serenita Jun 22nd, 2009, 07:21 PM i like her someone diffrent. Hurley Jun 22nd, 2009, 07:21 PM Suzy Kolber's finest hour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQqIQyT-RuM Gets good at 50 seconds... pwayne Jun 23rd, 2009, 02:21 AM Suzy Kolber's finest hour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQqIQyT-RuM Gets good at 50 seconds... I am not going to watch the Joe Namath and his famous sideline show. ~Eclipsed~ Jun 23rd, 2009, 03:04 AM She isn't bad. She's actually isn't new to doing the GS. I remember when she used to be one of the co-anchors for the Primetime shows for RG and Wimby a few years back. supergrunt Jun 23rd, 2009, 03:26 AM she's very... polished. V's a star Jun 23rd, 2009, 03:44 AM I change my mind i actually like her. She has her facts rite which is rare for espn Lin Lin Jun 23rd, 2009, 03:57 AM It seems she gets some fans here:lol: PS:Annoying commentators are everywhere, especially on CCTV-5 and CCTV-Golf&Tennis:help: supergrunt Jun 23rd, 2009, 04:04 AM but atleast she adds some form of diversity geez -VSR- Jun 23rd, 2009, 04:05 AM I think she's pretty sweet! kris719 Jun 23rd, 2009, 04:41 AM half the threads in here are people whining about either court scheduling or commentators  seriously... incidentally, suzy isn't bad but football is more her sport. Leo_DFP Jun 23rd, 2009, 05:56 AM I change my mind i actually like her. She has her facts rite which is rare for espn They give her all the stats on screens and stuff. It's not like she knows anything about tennis. And yes, she's been around for years. I forgot that she even left... someone said after '06? I still remember when they introduced her, I think the same year ('03) that Chris Fowler came on board. They're both football people who have no right to call tennis and are idiots in this sport. ESPN sucks at covering tennis. Thank god for ESPN360 with Boris Becker and British commentators!! :D In The Zone Jun 23rd, 2009, 05:59 AM She's not meant to be the commentator. Much like Chris Fowler, who does College Football but also tennis on the off-months. She is meant to be the anchor and moderator. She is very soft-spoken and I like her voice. It brings class to the Wimbledon set with the bunch of beasts she has to work with. | |
