She's probably be a top 15 player if it was even a few weeks longer let alone a lot longer. Well done Tamerine - probably one of the better matches on tour this year.

Good draw at Wimbledon for her.

Yeah she was quite lucky in some respects although Serena is looming in her quarter. Then again she recieved absolutely no help from the All England tennis club seeing as they are bandying about the term "Grass Court Credentials" to bump up & seed a certain player - then again what has Tammy ever done at Wimbledon? I guess 6 4th round appearances and a QF last year aren't much to go on.

The real question is how did CAVADAY beat her at Birmingham last week?
I dunno...what do you call a person who beats a GOAT? :p

Seriously though, I was looking at Tanasugarn's grass court record and I was a bit surprised by who she was losing to. From 2000 on Tanasugarn has 13 losses on grass to players ranked outside the top 30 out of 25 overall losses on grass. That's a bit perplexing for someone with her grass court ability.

What a shame they don't give her credit for that  :o Tammy should have been seeded, lets say .... something around Seed #24, would be my wild guess. :p

Well done, Tammy, what an amazing job! :worship: And congrats with your prolongation of the title!

Really happy for Tammy, she's so adorable :awww: It's amazing how she goes up so many levels from her usual on grass. Surely now with 2 Ordina titles, a Wimby QF and all those other 4R's she's one of the most accomplished active players on this surface following the the 4 who have won Wimbledon. I hope she has a good Wimbledon again, clearly like last year she will be a threat to most in the draw.

It's just a terrific effort. She's been one of the better grass-court players this century and this title is a testament to her longevity on this surface. She still plays a very modern style on grass too, which bodes well for seasons to come, should she go on.

Tammy seems like a great girl too, so the win is even more deserved IMO:D

When she does the little hand clasping thing in Bhuddist Prayer too the crowd (I forget the correct name for it). It makes me get butterfly's inside, it's soooooo adorable and cute.

I love Tammy, shes just amazing. Such a nice lady, so humble and bubbly, shes just great. The most adorable thing on tour. I wish I could fold her up in my pocket and take her home with me.
