I've been watching Baroli - Razzano refused handshake for a couple of times and it reminded me of a clip I came across few days ago. It has been probably posted here before not once, but I hope some of you will find it adorable.

It's quite the contrary :) And it is one of the most beautiful moments in WTA history, if we're talking about good sportsmanship.
Do you imagine it today? Enjoy!

What a fabulous shot at 1:16

Lovely moment at the end of the match. :awww: No you probably wouldn't see that today.

Both really lovely players in every possible way. Ruxandra was always a personal favourite of mine. :hearts:

I saw some amazing handshakes recently

I remember one between Nastya and Davenport in Filderstadt
They chatted at the net for like 20 seconds and then Nastya went to the wrong side of the net to take her bag (well it was lindsay's one!) and they both laughed

You said Filderstadt but, if I correctly remember, it was at the YEC. ;)

no no I'm pretty sure it happened at Filderstadt (Nastya lost)
But their YEC handshake was very warm too;)

They were also doubles partners in 1997 i remmember, and coming into the match Dragomir had beaten Iva just weeks earlier in Rome. That was an entertaining match at Roland Garros.

I miss seeing Roxy play.

Remember when she tried a comeback a few years ago ?? She got back into the top 100 in doubles, but i forget how high she got in singles .

I remember this clearly :) Iva and Ruxy were very close friends at the time so it wasn't too surprising to their fans when it happened. But still a lovely thing to watch after a pretty tense match.

Eva Majoli was a class act, everyone liked her... we can´t say this about bartoli, it seems everyone hates her
