Leighton Meester (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1015262/) is at the centre of a sex tape scandal after stills from a red-hot home movie allegedly featuring the Gossip Girl (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0397442/) star appeared online.
TMZ.com reports a film of the actress romping with her boyfriend is being offered around various media outlets, including celebhotline.com.
And the rumours gathered weight when still images allegedly taken from the sex tape - showing a woman who bears a striking resemblance to the actress - were posted on a website on Friday.
According to TMZ.com, the short movie was shot several years ago and shows Meester in "mostly innocuous" nude scenes with her then-boyfriend.
A spokesman for celebhotline.com tells TMZ, "We've seen the tape and we're hoping to close the deal."
Meester's representative had not issued a comment as WENN went to press.

It’s not shot in high definition and look’s like it has been shot using a video camera while they are both fooling around. I have been surprised by the level of interest in it.”

Meester, 24, who plays Blair Waldorf on the hit CW show, has a dramatic personal story. Both her parents were in prison on drug charges when Leighton was born. Her mom got an early release when Leighton was 16-months old so that she could raise her daughter.
