Should be a very interesting match, mainly since this is Anna first singles match since the Widjaja disaster so Anna is likely to be a little fragile. However knowing that this is her opponents 3rd WTA main draw appearance should be something that will give her a bit of extra confidence knowing she has way more experience playing in front of big crowds on centre court, where as Mireille has probably never played in front of more than 500 people, if that!
Mireille does hit hard and flat and has beaten Evie Dominikovic, Gisela Dulko, Blahotova, Castano, also pushing the likes of Molik in the last 12 months and is improving gradually but steadily with more experience! She also enjoys playing in Asia having qualified for 2 WTA events here last year.
It would be a massive upset if Mireille took a set, let alone the match! But then again, the unpredictability of Kournikova's form could see anything happen!
