Thanks! Some interesting players I'm looking forward to seeing: Sprem, Groth, Domachowska, Vaidisova.

Guess Dokic couldn't get fit in time, a shame!

Oh god... Mirza vs Dulgheru!

Mirza still on the draw?
She´s playing SF in Birmingham tomorrow, so she must be 100% sure, that she will be not playing here, or not?

Yeah thats what I noticed. Mirza is scheduled after 5pm at Eastbourne, so maybe if she loses she is planning to play in the qualifying? Sounds like a bit of a mass panic! Or most likely she doesn't intend to play even if she loses at Birmingham

They are holding her first round qualy match until after 5:00 pm Saturday or Sunday morning. If she wins in Birmingham, then an alternate will take her spot.

Aha, so that definately explains it. I thought it was a little surprising to see her still scheduled even if she lost tomorrow and played after 5pm. So nice to see that she is being allowed an extra if required. Thanks for the information.

"A source from the Serbian evening newspaper Vecernje Novosti told the Herald that Jelena was expected to fly to Belgrade from England, where she had reportedly cancelled an appearance in the qualifying round of the Aegon International tournament in Eastbourne - a warm-up event for Wimbledon - due to incomplete recovery from a back injury."
