I just can't tell you how mad this article makes me.

I'm spreading the word. Call into this show and tell this guy how it is. We should all band together. No pun intended.

im sorry but band kids are nowhere near as athletic and energy consuming as sports. i've seen a lot of overweight some near being considered a bit obese be in bad and you just cant be that way and play a competitive sport. jim is right.

The radio host is right.

Maybe playing the huge instruments, big like pregnant elephants, involves a lot of breathing but other than that, it's not athletic at all.

I don't think any band member goes to gym everyday to have a Baywatch body.

Of course, it takes pure talent and a lot of hard work but it's not athletic.

its really, not true:

1- his attack that cheerleaders dont have to be extremely athletic is a complete joke.

2- i think the guying doing the interview was talking about the most demanding bands, not the pansy bands (dont get dramatic over the use of the word pansy, people).

the video moves around lot and miss most of the action but you get the idea.

and lets not forget football is just rugby for punks. :bolt:
