Irish people will understand this.

I learned like Bishop, Longley and Montague and now it looks like 2 of them are on the leaked paper from county Louth :sad::sad:

I cant find a definite answer on this topic.

I know nothing about this but I want to say something after reading the 2nd post.

I think it's really unfair to the students that they are rescheduling the tests because they didn't take the necessary security measures to ensure that the papers didn't get leaked/stolen.

If this happened to me I would be so angry. It would mess up my whole revision timetable because I will always revise a day before the exam no matter how much revision I have done in the past. It's unfair to all the students and can seriously effect their performance not only in this paper but in other papers too.

Yes it was in St. Oliver's in Drogheda.
But I go to school in Dundalk, so I haven't heard anything from any students yet.

On the outside of the envelopes which contain the exam papers there is a large sticker which states the exam with an big block capital PAPER TWO. Also two random students have to sign the envelope thing so they didn't notice either.

The attendant obviously didn't bother checking the papers after they were removed from the sealed envelope and then placed them face down on all students desks until they were turned over and everyone saw Paper Two instead of Paper One.

I was actually happy with Paper One and kinda looking forward to just finishing Paper Two. No I have a day off and will have to try and study extra english stuff, geography and some maths formulae.

That Paper Two would have been perfect, Bishop and Longley were the poets with Cultural Context for the Comparative and Deception for the Single Text which in my case is Macbeth.

The amount this will cost the state by paying these attendants double pay for working a saturday is major.

That is so cruel. Like the leaving cert isnt bad enough without making you resit on the weekend

I know if that parent had kept their mouth shut and didn't ring the school the whole exam would be over now.
Because the commission would have said the internet rumours were only that rumours.

The original paper was exactly what came up in my Mock, so it was predicted anyway, so any internet rumour wouldn't have triggered this.

It is the parent who rang the school.
