What a thriller this match was! Agassi ditched Hewitt 6/4 7/6(5) 6/7(1) 6/2 to join Pete for another blast tomorrow.
What a weekend!

Tennischick, you think you've been there, done that. I've got a surprise for you. This year happens to be 2002 (!) and things, people, games have evolved. Even you, my dear, are not the same old Tennischick ;) . So, take a breath of fresh air, taste the new reality and enjoy this weekend of tennis feast to its fullest. You may not have this opportunity again.

Dahlin' TP. tell me, how have i changed? you seem to know me so well ;) ;)
actually i do in theory enjoy the phase that tennis is going thru now. honestly. this is an unprecedented era in history on both sides of the tour. the New Balls have revelaed themselves to be flaccid on the ATP tour, and the Old Gals have shown that experience is not enuf to face the power and ammunition of the young'uns. i do enjoy that for what it is. i'm just admitting to a certain lack of excitement about it all. i guess i think that a lack of excitement can (and in my case does) go along with the ability to appreciate. appreciation doesn't necessarily require a surge of adrenaline. it can be a far more passive experience -- and in my case, is.
so i am pleased that the Sisters continue to dominate. and if Serena humbles Venus yet again, and Andre slays the Android and wins yet another Slam, my weekend would be complete. capiche? :) :)
