I think they will but very late since Safin decided to waste time out there. However I don't think her doubles will be played today.

Yes, there still about 3 and half hours of play or so.

Yes. If Nadal's match is quick on Lenglen than they will move Venus/Lucie to that court.*I hope* I love Marat,:hearts: but damn boy could you wrap it up! This guy is ranked 134 and is the epitome of scrub.:o Geeze the men never blow guys away when they should. I'll say this as a womens tennis fan, I think one of the reasons Fed is so popular is because for the most part he wins his matches quickly, beats down the scrubs and gets out of the damned way so you can see some womens tennis.:worship:

Let's go Ouanna, 2 MORE POINTS

I'm actually cheering for Ouanna to take the 2nd set then Marat will probably get frustrated & just whine his way to a 2-6 loss in the 3rd set.

Me too. I don't care who wins as long as its in 3 so Vee can get on the court:devil:

They'll take the court, so long as this current match isn't a 5 setter.

Safin is now down 2 sets, hopefully he utterly hates the dirt now & gives up. Big ups to the frenchman, Ouanna. I hear this guy is pretty good but has been injured. I'm sure the crowd is going WILD! lol

I think so too. It's been removed from the schedule of play today

Once Nadal finally decides to stop stinking up Lenglen he'll massacre Gabashvili and Venus/Lucie will play there. Or the older brother of Dinara could just keep on sucking.

No, if Nadal finishes before Safin they will move Venus' match to Lenglen.

There is hope for Venus as Nadal looks like he will be wrapping it up in 3.:bounce:

But it's also starting to rain. I wouldn't get too excited just yet.

Yep, and that means they will not be able to play as late, because it will be darker at an earlier hour. It will be dark much earlier than yesterday.

Ouanna was so close (too bad he wasted that bp)and in a blink he was in a 4th set.
It's raining but the it's not heavy rain.

bad luck for Venus, but I'm really enjoying this match. Both are playing really well.

From the look of the rain now, I'd be amazed if Lucie and Venus got on court tonight.

andrewbroad
May 27th, 2009, 06:43 PM
But it's easing off a little, so perhaps they might put Lucie and Venus after Nadal on Lenglen, with Safin v Ouanna being in a fifth set on Chatrier. It's awfully late to start a match, though.

Judging by the announcement I just heard in French - talked over by the BBC commentators - they just moved Lucie v Venus to Lenglen...

...and the revised order of play (http://www.rolandgarros.com/en_FR/scores/schedule/) confirms it.

Well they better have her on first thing tomorrow. Actually tomorrow could be a good day for WS fans. Both sisters in singles and doubles action:wavey:
