she's been struggling since 2-0 on the first :shrug: fact is she got a lead and blew it.

none of them has been in control of the match but Serena was VERY passive on some of the MP.

Kookie is just error filled atm.

Same thing in the 3rd than in the whole match : Klara played well and made the winners to take lead then sprayed some balls when she had the occasion to really put herself ahead.Serena was kinda out of the match mentally but Klara let her back in.It's not a case of Serena forcing the issue imo.

Hmm kind of reminds me of the Kirlenko match back in 2004. This player however has akward strokes sort of on the Santangelo side. What she has going for her is that she moves well and gets many balls back. We also have to remember that Serena hasnt won a match for quite sometime and she's battling nerves. During my first year playing USTA, I lost 3 matches in a row and when I was in the position to win I was very nervous. I'm sure she'll be fine

Haven't seen much of the match, but I watched when there was a MP.
Stopped watching of 2nd set. Then turned it on at 5-2 again.
When she wasted again, I just decided to not watch anymore.
Gladly that helped.
