Ok, IMHO the line calling today was a big pile of steaming horse poo.... when the replays were shown with those super duper slo-mo cam things on the basline, it usually gives a clear indication and the people watching know for sure

or do they...

for one of those close calls that got a replay, amelie was on the baseline, and yet the replay showed no foot or leg or anything. its very zoomed in, but she was standing over the line.

can this replay thing airbrush out the people, or are we seeing the wrong images (x-files music if u please maestro), or is it something else?

well we get the replays right away so I don't see how that could happen. Amelie will just have to learn that the Williams almost always get tons of good line calls.

The line calling throughout the whole tournament has been terrible. It has affected all the players, the match today with Mauresmo was pretty bad, but not as bad as the men's doubles final, or the Clijsters/Shaughnessy doubles match yesterday. The line calling has been atroscious.
