no i am not a fan of Jen's to be honest. but she hits a good ball so i can enjoy watching her play without actually liking her.

what's with the matthew perry interview anyway? are they or aren't they dating? i think he likes her for her tennis and that's all.

go Mauresmo!!!!!!!!!! :bounce: spank the Saint

Amelie just had a break but then lost it. Jennifer is now serving at 3-4 in the second set. Who do you think will win?

I love watching matches on the computer.......

Sep 4th, 2002, 05:48 PM
Helen you're not seeing it live? that's too bad.

Jen will win IMO. and that's good bec it makes for an interesting little rivalry between these two players.

Jennifer takes the match!

Helen Lawson
Sep 4th, 2002, 05:50 PM
She did? It says that Jennifer is serving at 4-5 in the second set? Is the webpage delayed?

Barrie_Dude
Sep 4th, 2002, 05:53 PM
Actually, the page is not delayed! I'm just answering your question "Who Will Win?"! JenJen!

tennischick
Sep 4th, 2002, 05:54 PM
Barrie isn't reporting; he's rooting. jen hasn't won yet. but i can't see her losing -- she's totally in control.

Helen Lawson
Sep 4th, 2002, 05:54 PM
Ok, I get it! It is now 5-5 and Amelie is at 15-0.

tennischick
Sep 4th, 2002, 05:57 PM
Mauresmo never recovered from that double-fault that gave Jen the first set.

Helen Lawson
Sep 4th, 2002, 05:58 PM
Now Amelie was broken and Jennifer is serving for it at 6-5! Do you think she will hold her serve? If Amelie is to rally, now is the time. Will she do it? I cannot handle the pressure and I am not even watching!

Oh damit Momo, why did you let her break you again...

Sep 4th, 2002, 06:13 PM

Yes you can chear on for whom ever you like, and I do respect that, but explain this little outburst on your part:

"Jen, her mama, daddy and man/friend must be s'ing bricks right about now"

BTW, affording a good life won't help the fact that you take this way too seriously!

Thanks for that explanation, now I understand where you're coming from!

When I say you take this way too seriously, it's the tone and selection of words you have in your posts, especially towards Jennifer, I mean if someone needs to be that hatefull, it's gotta be because your priorities are out of wack.

Helen Lawson

Amelie consolidated the break, but it is not over until it is over. This looks like a great match.

Poor Jennifer but congrats to Amelie. Second Grand Slam semi-final of the year!

I wanted Jennifer to get revenge on her. But I like both players so I'm suffering from mixed emotions :)

You had me sitting in my office cursing.

Glad I checked back into the thread.

I was wondering why it was still going.

Now I must find out if Momo actually won or am I buying into yet another false lead.
