I dont think they have made the 2 sub groups yet, but Bolivia, Chile, Mexico and Peru are going to be fighting for the 1st place, in my opinion.
The Cuban girls are great but unfortunately they dont participate in a lot of ITF events.

Bolivia, Chile and Peru seem like the strongest 3...I think Peru will win, but there's no clear favourite!

Chile could had made a better team by adding Camila Silva, don´t why she didnt play this, it was a great opportunity for her

Anyway Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Mexico seem to be the favourites. :lick:

If only Yamile Fors would play more often...she has to be the only hope for Cuban tennis...why does she never play other than Fed Cup?! It's annoying...wasted talent!

Mexico  I thought Botto would be enough for Peru. That could prove a decisive match.

That group A, is soooo tight! Good effort on the Mexicans, they did not achieve the goal of getting to Group I, but I think they found a new base for the Fed Cup team with Ximena and Alejandra Granillo, together with Licha Aguilar or any young player that gets to a good level, probably Angelica Chavez or Nadine Ruegg or Nazari, Deyanira or whoever.
Lets see.
