View Full Version : performance enhancing drugs in women's tennis

There has been a lot of talk about the use of performance enhancing drugs being rampant in women's tennis. Usually reference is made to players' physique (I'm assuming looking at players like Serena and Jennifer). Just based on appearance, I can see where they're coming from. But I've never heard of any real proof behind the claims (ok, can we ignore the idiot who got caught using Coke and thought she'd get away with it by explaining she took it for recreational use only. Nice try. Not even Bill Clinton would come up with that one). My question is, is this talk a lot of BS or is testing for these kinds of drugs a joke in women's tennis (just like in many other sports)? Thoughts?
