Welcome to Madrid – a new Premier+ event with massive points up for grabs once again. Bondarenko seemed to be back to her career-best last week as she claimed Gold at the Olympics. Hantuchova’s impressive season continued as she claimed the Silver. Both will be looking to do well here in Madrid. With just 90 points separating the Top 3, the race for the Top spot will be intense this week!!

Sure - send points and you will get WC to face #14 Schnyder, or replace Ferguson if she does not send points :)

Wickmayer says goodbye to OWTT tennis due to the lack of motivation to play anymore, she will now use her cash to build a family and hopefully return someday with a better attitude and more convincing consistency.
On the horizon, hope awaits, Kim Clijsters is here to fix owtt.

Champion, if you need help posting results, I could post. :)
A tear was found on the rotary cuff on the right shoulder of former world number 2, Maria Sharapova. She has been in a slump for more than 1 season now, after an excellent 3rd season, winning the US Open. Sharapova will be out for the rest of the season will hopefully come back beginning of the next season.
"This is sad for me, as I wanted to get out of this big slump. I have not won more than 3 matches in a row, and I would like to get back to my form I had in 3rd season. This will definitely set me back but hopefully, in the time I have before next season I can recover and work on my fitness and strength."
Sharapova will be in surgery for the shoulder in 2 weeks time.

Probably why you suck so much!! Send some new points and Masha will probably do much better!!
Congrats to Ivanovic who claims her 7th career title - the most of any active player. Despite her loss here today, Molik returns to the #1 ranking after a whole season away from the top spot, which even saw her go as low as #9 in the rankings. How long can she maintin the top spot for this time?
