I certainly didn't see that coming. Easily her best result of the year. Infact, aside from her home grass tournament in s'Hertogenbosch one would have to go back to 2007 for a better result. The fact that Vesnina was in such good form makes this result all the more amazing. Obviously Misa needs to build on this but certainly this result is a very postive sign for Misa fans.
