Just checked out the latest rankings and Eleni just keeps on dropping to an all-time low of 316, I can't see her playing past this year when she can't even win a first round match at a $25k challenger...
What a shame, she just never lived up to her potential!!!
As for those who will say she's coming back from injury - well it's been almost a year and that really can't be used as an excuse now.

It's been 7 months, some of that time being time between seasons, so it's not yet been *that* close to a year since she returned. Some people can have long layoffs and make surprisingly quick returns to form, others really need a lot of match practice to get mentally tough again and find their best game. For a player like Eleni who 1. Doesn't have a very reliable serve at the best of times, and 2. Sometimes struggles with knowing what to do with all of the different shots she has, I'm not entirely surprised it's been a bit slower coming back. That said, considering she didn't win a match at the tail end of 2008, this year has been a much better start (albeit patchy). I'd be pretty surprised if she wasn't back in the top 100 by year end, or at least very close.
