She hasn't played all year

But isn't that so much the case where a mediocre player beats Venus or Serena on a big stage, and never do anything else in their career. What all did Srebotnik do the rest of last year after she beat Serena at the FO?:tape::shrug::shrug:

Kata to a much lesser extent of course, reminds me of Jana Novotna. A wonderful athlete, agile, good footwork, textbook volleys.

Come back soon, you're a joy to watch at your best!

I hope she comes back soon. Her & Petrova were supposed to re-form their old partnership this year after beating Black/Huber to win Moscow.

 Some people on here

Katarina has done alot more in her singles career than that win over Serena. To start with, she held match points on Lindsay at the USO one year. :worship:

Srebotnik is a solid top-20 player with an all-around game, not only did she beat Serena at the French Open last year, but she also defeated Kuznetsova at the US Open. Some people here look still bitter from Serena's loss to Katarina at the Frech last year... Give the girl some credit :p

She is still recovering from the two beat downs Patty gave her in the 4th rounds of the French and the US Open. :p

I hope she gets better soon, she is a good player with a nice all around game.

Oh, please. Serena has done more in one event than Srebotnik will ever ever do in her entire career. One loss to Srebotnik did not break Serena's year nor her fans.

I've never said this loss did break Serena's fans, I just think you sounded quite bitter after calling Kata a "mediocre" player.

When we were kids, our dad used to tell my brother, my sister and me stories about an evil Dr. Schlabotnick. I always think of that when I hear Srebotnik.

Plus, Kata is a cutie.

Well I personally didn't call Katarina a mediocre player, but isn't she just a mediocre player? No one thinks of her as a major contender or threat to win Grand Slam titles, tier I titles or tier II titles. Hence why someone would call her a mediocre player.

I'm sorry are we just saying random words?
Or are we talking about those three mixed doubles slams? In which case, I stand by my joke.

Her ranking doesn't seem to be suffering at all considering she hasn't played at all this year. She remains at #22.

It's the nose :p but we've covered that before.

She's one of those players that I like to watch play but I always forget that she exists until she has one her good events.

probably in Madrid , Strasbourg, Roland-Garros
she is supposed to have started training again with no pain in the foot , and will travel to Rome to practice with the players and kick off in Madrid, using her SR, most probably
hopefully

You're giving all of her fans a bad name. :help: Jesus christ, get over it. No need to hijack a get well thread of a player who beat your fav. Pathetic. :tape:

A consistent top 30 player is considered mediocre by todays standards? Wow, i wonder what you think about the girls ranked 40 - 1000.
