Chucky didn't like to train herself, I doubt she has the patience to watch someone else train or indulge someone else acting like a spoiled brat on her time.

Plus most natural talents (and she was a natural talent, not a student of the game who got better with time or by gaining experience) can't teach average players because what sets them apart seems obvious to the natural talent while confusing to everyone else.

There are very few top players who turn coaches, perhaps they no longer need the money.

She should still play. The tour is very soft now, especially RG

oh she was here cuz of our horses

nice things about Michelle , saying that she is talented but she still has a long way to go

she said that she doesn't want to miss the game but that she cant help but to feel something inside when she sees Vee and Ree winning big titles (mentioned Dubai and the Aussie open) she said that she is done with Tennis as a player , that she might be back as a coach

i'd love her to return :hearts:

Its hard to give up what you love and Martina always loved tennis and was successful at it.:worship: But "coaching" I don't think so, she said years ago...."I wasn't the easiest person to coach (stubborn, high-handed, temperamental) so I can't see myself coaching others." Melanie, her mother of course was her coach....she guided her talented child early in the sport but she had great ambitions for Martina....why else would she name her Martina? She was an idol of Melanie's so therefore the pressure was instantly put on little Marti to succeed...to be the best...to excel.:worship:...Now, to take the same path her mom took she would have to get pregnant and have a child...name him/her Roger or Serena and start coaching...otherwise...just write a book...we want to know all about those "torrid love affairs"!!:hearts::kiss::bounce:

Peppermint Patty, aka the Peppermint Puzzle, Strange Suissie, Cuckoo Clock, etc. Married to Herr Hofmann, aka the Career Conman, Frankfurt Felon, Deadbeat Dad, etc. Their book if it ever actually comes out:

People often compare Chakvetadze with Hingis, similar cleverly style of game, same size. Chaky didn't play well since the last 12 months and is now out of the top20 :awww: maybe needs a new coach. If Hingis coached Chakvetadze, it wouldn't be so bad.
"Chucky" coaching "Chaky"
