Flavia:smooch:
The first set and a half she played quite bad, way too many errors, and too many slow/high balls.
When she started to play more agressive and moved Haynes around the court when she got the chance, things got better.

Haynes susprised me, she has quite a stong (1st) serve, when it came through Flavia didn't have much of a chance.

Flavia'll have to play better to beat Ana or Gisela though:unsure:

Flavia has to step it up if she is expected to defeat Ana or Gisela tomorrow. This is the first time in her career she has reached R16 at IW or KB.

When this was televised in the beginning of the second set, I thought Angela would win. Also, had a feeling Flavia's experience might overcome her though.

Nice effort Angie! Hope you can keep up this form though.

If Flavia can win her seection of the draw (beating Ana or Gisela), I honestly believe she could actually win the whole damn thing. Since all the big dogs were knocked out in the first round, she must think it's a MM tournament.

Haynes put up a good fight, but Flavia got more aggressive towards the end which clearly helped her!

Saw it on Eurosport. I think Flavia has to play much better next round though.

Sucks for Angie, but still, this was a pretty awesome run for her. If she keeps playing like this she'll definitely be back in the Top 100 soon :bounce:

I was hoping Angela could keep it together, but she was getting a bit stressed in the second set, probably because Flavia remembered how to play tennis. It was still a good tournament for Angela.
