Should Monica & Martina go to a 3 set match, it will be only the 3rd time that Monica has played 3 matches in a row that have all gone 3 sets. She is 3-0 on the time in 01, and 2-1 the time in 98. She's never had to do 3-3setters in a row anywhere else since. And never has done it in a Slam

This is probably a meaningless stat - but since I'm bored and had the time I thought I'd check it out.
Could good things come in 3s? Is 3 the magic number? Could this be Mon's 3rd US Open title? If it is, she would be ranked #3!
What a coincidence.
What a coincidence.
What a coincidence.
