I know the secret: SHE'S MUCH MORE THINNER!

Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODyac8VjJ6c&feature=related

She has been improving her form and her forehand is kindda different (which I think is stupid, cause her forehand was her biggest weapon in the first place :tape: )

From first-round losses :tape:

Ummm, she's won like one or two matches this week against shitty opponents? Let's calm down and wait and see if she's really back in good form. At this point I think it will be a while before she can play consistently Top 20 tennis again.

Well, I would never consider Alona Bondarenko a shitty opponent... But O.K. ...

her forehand is kindda different

I think this is more footwork drill than a hitting session. In the first two FHs she hits, her backswing looks somewhat staggered; she moves her arm back a little, does a little final step to lock on target, and only then finishes her motion. She seems to be working on actually moving her feet after she begins her swing, something she almost never did during her amazing serial tanking run.

I agree that we should wait a while to see if she really is back, but to say that she beat two shitty opponents is just plain stupid. One is a former top 30 player and one a former top 20 - and to beat them both in straight sets is a small victory in itself considering the amount of matches.. no, the amount of GAMES shes been winning against opponents much worse than Misa and Alona. If your not a vaidisova fan, I don't really expect you to understand though

But before she was losing to these "shitty" players, like you said

Yep Vaidisova's Comeback alright!

I hate being mean but I find people on this forum are "thread creating happy" The minute someone upset a player or win a match they are immediately ushered into the top ten or will have some miraculous comeback.

Geriatric Jill strikes again.

it's a comeback anyway, she had kind of bad loss before too

She only just got back into a bit of form. 3rd Round isn't too shabby. The signs are encouraging.

She only just got back into a bit of form. You can't expect her stepdad to just whip her into shape in a couple of weeks. 3rd Round isn't too shabby. The signs are encouraging.

Sorry for being mean and you are right she did win more than most thought. I just wish people will not be so quick to create threads without waiting out things to see how it will play out.

I wish Nicole will get her act together though.

She just lost to Jill Craybas. If this IW is really a victory for her, then you Vaidisova fans are setting your standards too low.

Some posters say we are setting our standards too high, some posters say we are setting them too low. WE CAN'T WIN!

I think it just needs time. This is her first event back with her stepdad as coach, its not going to fall into place over night. I think winning two matches in straights sets and then losing to Craybas is not all bad considering her record over the past 13 months. But as I've already said, if your not a Vaidisova fan, I don't expect you to understand, which you clearly don't.

I just knew it. KNEW YOU WOULD BE THE ONE BUMPING IT.
You are so annoying, you don't even see you are boring and that people here can't stand you.
You bumped the Lindsay comeback thread, now Vaidisova's one, and you keep trolling around.

You deserve to be banned for a week or smth like that.

THIS. I was like "OMMMGGGG, NIKKI IS COMING BACK", but then I realized "Wait, a thread that I started?? That can't be right...."
