I would but I literally cannot stand rap music. Even if it means passing up an oppertunity to hear goddess Elena in the background.

Old news. But IMHO it does settle for once and for all who has the best grunt on the tour. (And the best legs. And the best schnoze. And the best butt. And the best boobs. And the best...) Everything but a serve. And bangs. :sobbing:

Dementieva should put a copyright on her grunts

My guess is if she's in a groove and rallying it's very regular and rythmic, unlike TOB or Serena's who tend to fluctuate with intensity.

I think I can recognize a serve grunt!

Yeah, Lil' Wayne has good taste in sports ;) Lil' Wayne is actually very intelligent, and actually a lot of rappers are very smart but are judged prematurely because they are rappers. I believe Lil' Wayne, Kanye West, Common, 50 cent, DJ Quik, will.i.am, and Pharell were all college students at one point. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I wonder if Dementieva knows about this though? I doubt she was ever asked by Lil Wayne if she would mind if he"sampled" her grunts in a song...

I remember Justin. posted a thread about this ages ago and when I was putting old songs onto my iPod I realised that Lil' Wayne actually took this beat from a Busta Rhymes song.

It'd be interesting if a journalist asked her about the song in a press conference to see what she has to say about it.

Wow. I know it's old but this is new to me.

One of the whitest chicks in tennis is a part of a rap song!

I wonder if Sveta has told her this, seeing how she's the hip hop fan.

Lil Wayne has also gone on record as a Nadal fan.

He has impeccable taste in which players to pull for -- and which grunts to sample. :D

I haven't heard that bugger Lil Wayne, but reckon Dem's later model double barrelled "Woknaa! " grunt is one of the noisiest on tour, and I think Miss attractive cacti grower should take back her remarks about the constipated seagull shrieker's screeching being "unrussian":)

Yeah, Lil Wayne is a huge fan of tennis. He sent Sports Illustrated a letter from prison on his predictions for the U.S. Open and guess what, he was right for both men's and women's!!
Read his letter here,

Lil' Wayne is totally brilliant. He's so creative and smart. I was supposed to see him in concert last year but sadly he cancelled. :( Quite an interesting use of a tennis player's grunt! ;-) They can really turn almost any sound into music. And I think Elena's grunt is the best one to use, since it is alot easier to listen to than most.
